Slowie is an undisputed heavyweight of Bristol’s grime & dubstep scene, stretching all the way back to early Sidewinder appearances in the noughties. After a break to focus on family life, he returned to music in 2015, and has since built up a formidable discography  – including releases on esteemed labels such as SWAMP81, Wheel & Deal, Deep Dark & Dangerous, Durkle Disco, and his own DeeOh7 imprint (where he’s often showed a deeper, more introspective side to his writing); collaborating with the likes of Lamont, Hypho & Unkey along the way.

His association with Marcus Nasty’s Nasty Bros team has also seen Bristol’s ‘Reload King’ regularly tearing up radio sets, with electrifying appearances on BBC Radio 1Xtra, Rinse FM, SWU.FM, Flex FM & Reprezent Radio in the past year. His steady work rate and consistent output have also earned him bookings at festivals including Love Saves The Day, NASS, Westfest & Nozsotck, whilst also racking up club bookings across the UK. Slowie’s punchline heavy, unashamedly West Country style has stood him and his voice out as unique, in both his hometown and far beyond.
